You Know Its Bad When Exclusive Ace Is Burned Out Too ▉
I usually end up playfully ragging on Ace mostly because I feel like he’s just too nice towards Activision and Call of Duty and will just take forever to seemingly acknowledge there’s even a problem. This time though his experience mirrors my own and I’m giving him credit for talking about it early instead of waiting until halfway through the game’s lifecycle to acknowledge the issue.
I wasn’t even going to try the Black Ops 7 beta because I knew the game was going to be ruined by the matchmaking, skill based or otherwise. A friend of mine happened to have a code from watching COD Next and well, here we are. While it’s been great to play and reconnect with friends, playing solo has been an absolute nightmare. I played about five games last night and was tossed into the Unemployment Lobbies. I was about to log off and play something else when I got a party invite from my friends.
I mean you know its bad when Ace is considering featuring Battlefield 6 as his main content on his channel this year. He’s not the only one but I would take this as the biggest proverbial canary in the coal mine that COD is in trouble.
Now that I know about the “SBMM removed” playlist I’m curious to see how different my experience is, though like Ace, I’m a little wary because I know anyone burned out by the matchmaking is going to be in that playlist and it’s probably going to be mostly good players.
